Φανταστικές εικόνες της γης από τον Διεθνή Διαστημικό Σταθμό

Μέσα στο 2018 ο Διεθνής Διαστημικός Σταθμός θα γιορτάσει τα 20ά του γενέθλια. Μέσα σε αυτές τις δύο δεκαετίες ο ISS εκτός από ένα επιστημονικό επίτευγμα έχει αποδειχτεί και μια εξαιρετική τοποθεσία για φωτογραφήσεις!

Ο ISS για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν έχει μήκος 109 μέτρων, παίρνει ενέργεια από τον ήλιο μέσω ηλιακών πάνελ μήκους 73 μέτρων, περιστρέφεται γύρω από την Γη κάθε 90 λεπτά με μια ταχύτητα περίπου 8 χιλιομέτρων το δευτερόλεπτο σε ένα ύψος 435 χιλιομέτρων.

Οι φωτογραφίες που έχει στείλει κατά καιρούς ο ISS είναι πραγματικά απίστευτες. Μοναδικά τοπία, υπέροχα φωτισμένες πόλεις ορατές από το διάστημα, αλλά και πυρκαγιές, εκρήξεις ηφαιστείων, καταιγίδες και ηλιακές εκλείψεις!
Φυσικά μέσα από τις φωτογραφίες δεν θα μπορούσε να λείπει και η αγαπημένη μας Αθήνα!
